The traded aluminum price on the LME dropped about 10% over the course of April, leading to a decrease in price for May.  We are still experiencing a high Midwest Premium, but the Midwest Average decreased $0.13 per pound due to the falling price on the LME.  All indicators are for prices to remain high due to increased demand and a tightening of supply domestically.
