The Midwest Average continues to climb with a jump of $0.08 per pound thru August. Based on early numbers in September, price is trending up for this month as well.

Aluminum prices continue to rise with the uptick in the economy post shutdowns. Midwest Average increase over the month of July was $0.05 per pound, leading to a price increase for orders placed in the month of August.

Prices jumped a bit through the month of June, up to $0.80 per lb (rounded 2 places) on the Midwest Average, leading to an increase in price for July orders.

The base price of aluminum has been dropping over the past couple of months. Current price of the Midwest Avg is $0.74 per pound (rounded to two places). Back in our last update in March, the Midwest Average was at $0.90 per pound.
